Welcome back ~
As you can probably tell by the title, these are my favorites this month :) I have some swatches for some of them but for others I'll just give you a description of the product~ well...lets get started!
From left to right; Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal - Skin79 Super BB Cream - Physician's Formula Wet/Dry Eyeshadow in Baked Oatmeal - Olay Shine Shine Go Away Face Cleanser - Essie's Mademoiselle - Face Shop Nail Polish (don't know the name lol) - Revlon's Nearly Naked Powder in Fair - fresh Sugar Lip Balm - Physician's Formula Quad in Canyon Classics - Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara
First off I'd like to start off with the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal. I received this in my Ipsy bag (it's a monthly beauty subscription for only $10!) I absolutely love this, it smells amazing and I would definitely purchase the full size product if it wasn't so expensive haha! but it's worth the money, I'm still contemplating whether or not I should just splurge on it ~
Above as you can see is the swatch of the Skin79 Super+ BB Cream. It's a lot thicker than the BB creams that American cosmetics companies produce which means it provides more coverage. Like most BB creams this one has SPF of 25. I love this because of how smooth it glides on to my face, yes it is a bit thick so I will not be using this next month while I'm away at Florida. (Come back next month to see what BB cream I use when I'm in Florida).
This here is a swatch of the Physician's Formula Wet/Dry Eyeshadow Trio in Baked Oatmeal. Wet or dry this eyeshadow is so pigmented! The two lighter colors are shimmery and the brown color is matte. I absolutely love this trio just to throw it on and leave the house. I use this trio alone with the Physicians Formula Quad in Canyon Classics as you can see swatches are below this
This eyeshadow quad contains all matte neutral colors the two browns are very similar in the pans until they are swatched, one (the bottom right) is darker than the other (the top left).
Olay Shine Shine Go Away Face Cleanser I got this cleanser along with a little face cleaning tool that vibrates and has soft little rubber bristles on it. It eliminates the oil on your face. The cleanser itself is a gel/cream like liquid and it's a silver color! it's pretty awesome, I've never seen a cleanser of that color haha!
The next things I'd like to talk about at nail polishes. Essie's Mademoiselle has been my favorite polish to use a a base coat. My favorite nail polish this month has got to be the navy blue from the Face Shop (a Korean cosmetics store). it's a beautiful dark blue that I've never seen any other brand have. It literally looks like an ocean just got painted unto your fingers (just without the waves lol)
I've been using Revlon's Nearly Naked Pressed Powder in "Fair" to set my BB Cream just so that it stays a bit longer that reduces the appearance and production of oil on my face.
A lip balm that I've recently fallen in love with is the fresh Sugar Lip Balm I received this from Sephora for my birthday and let me tell you this little thing
works wonders! It smells like lemons and the tube is quite fancy! the full size is $22 and no way in HIZZZY HECK am I spending $22 on a lip balm so sadly, I will not be repurchasing this lip balm again :(
This is the brush of the Tarte Gifted Amazonian Smart Clay mascara it has many thin bristles and it coats every lash. It gives amazing volume to the lashes and I wear this for with natural look, I use two or three coats and then that's it! I love it~
Well, that's it! These were my favorites for the month of June! Come back next month to see what's in my travel makeup bag and what products I brought on my trip to Florida! Thank you guys for stopping by and see you all soon!
xoxo
Simone
