Beat Dry Skin & Chapped Lips

Hiiii, long time no talk! (or in my case, blog) Hope you're doing well, I've been trying to just sit back and relax and I've been trying to keep up with blogging it's just that my old laptop's screen was just continually flashing like legit it was going to give me a seizure. Sooooo, my very niceee and generous uncle bought me a little mini netbook and here I am typing up some new blog posts! I was going to write one for the best reds for holidays but I think I might just write it and publish that next year during the holiday season...ANYWAYS back to this post.

Lately my skin has been extremely dry, dry to the point where my skin started to flake and peel....it was just plain disgusting (not even joking)! So I went to CVS and picked up a couple things to help me beat dry skin and chapped lips, after all winter sucks all the moisture out of your skin!

So, starting off with the face mask, I picked up the Queen Helene Olive Oil Masque for Dry Skin. It's very moisturizing, it feels like you're just putting cream on your face and it feels very very moisturizing. WHen you wash it off, it's a bit of a hassle to wash off because of the olive oil within the mask. But after everything is washed off, you can feel such a difference in your face.

After the mask, I like to put on lotion for extra moisturizurization so I use this Aveeno Baby Fragrance Daily Moisture Lotion. The reason why I use baby lotion is because of how delicate it is I mean come on, it's meant for babies and ther skin is extremely sensitive. And my skin is incredibly sensitve, if I use one product that is too crazy or even a little crazy for my skin to handle, my skin gets irritated and it starts to puff up and burn and become red....sooo I stick to things that I've tested out and tried (my skin has taken a toll due to all the testing and stuff).

Next on my list is this Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick, its for marks, blemishes and rough, dry skin. I use this on my dry patches, blemishes and marks. It helps a little bit, not much of a dramatic change but it helps when you dont want to carry a big bottle of lotion in your bag.

Next thing I picked up are these Baby Lips (the Dr Rescue formula) I picked up the Too Cool one which is the one on the left, it's clear and I use this on days where I just dont want any color to my lips or when I just want to go to sleep. The other one I picked up is in the shade Soothing Sorbet, it's a sheer berry color. These are the most moisturizing chap sticks ever! They have a weird sweet minty scent, it reminds me of the Halls throat drops that you eat when you're sick. Below are the swatches.

Hope you will take advantage of these products that you can find at your local drugstore and use them to your best to beat the dry winter air! Remember, relax, have some hot chocolate and wrap yourself in millions of blankies! Enjoy the rest of your winter~ I will have another post coming up soon! I promise!
