Hi there! Remember me? Well...I've been so caught up with school and just other unnecessary BS that's been going on in my life. Anyways I hope you are having or have had a wonderful day (depending what time you're reading this). Here is the long awaited Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay. My amazing neighbor, Nicole, bought it for me (for my birthday) the day it was released on Urban Decay's website.
Here is the front, the packaging is very similar to the Naked 2 Palette. The packaging is metal, and quite sturdy.
Here's a look at the inside! Huge mirror, 12 shades, a double ended brush.
These right here are the swatches. As you can see, these shades all have a bit of a rose gold feel to them. I would have to say that some of these shades are less pigmented than others, some of these shades are big culprits of leaving fall out on your face. I also would like to add that I reccomend using primer to intensify the color and allow for the eye shadow to last longer.
Strange - This shade is a very light pink to cream color
Dust - This shade contains chunky pink glitter which is quite hard to apply (one of the shades I wasn't too happy about)
Burnout - This shade is basically a rose gold shadow
Limit - This is a matte shade that is a creamy light mauve color
Buzz - This is another shimmery shadow it's a light raspberry goldish color (I know...I'm terrible at describing colors LOL)
Trick - This shade is a shimmery bronzy gold color
Nooner - This is a darker mauve (just a tad bit darker than Limit)
Liar - This shade is a shimmery mauve color
Factory - This shade is a deep satin brown
Mugshot - This shade is a light satin brown
Darkside - This shade is a deep plum color with a tad bit of shimmer
Blackheart - This shade is a black with specks of purple/pink shimmers
I was on the fence about this palette when I heard that it was coming out but now that I have it, I absolutely love it. It's not like the Naked 1or Naked 2 but I feel that with this palette you can create more soft and romantic looks as for with the Naked 1 and Naked 2 you can create a natural or smoky look. The only problem I did have with this palette is that the shade "Dust" is very hard to apply, it's very messy and leaves A TON of fall out on your face. I used it only two times and it seems as if I'm about to hit pan on it because of how much you need to pack on and how chunky the glitter is that it takes up the whole shade. I'm just not pleased with that one shade but I'm not going to let it rain on my parade! Anyways if you've been contemplating whether or not to get this palette I say go for it..HOWEVER, if you dont have the $52 to splurge save yourself $12 and go buy the Lorac Unzipped Palette. They're extremely similar in the sense that Lorac Unzipped contains many gold, warm colors. I hope this review helped you out a bit!
