Hey! Long time no talk huh? Well, I'm finally back from the stressful college life to write a little post just to review these lip lacquers. These came out quite a while ago in Europe first and they're called Apocalips there but here they're just called Show Off Lip Lacquers. I saw Fleur from FleurDeForce rave about these and then it started to get hyped up here in the states and I finally got to get my hands on these after being on the hunt for them for months!
The shades I got are;
~ 400 Big Bang - this is a classic red (think of it as the perfect red)
~ 401 Aurora - this shade is more of a burnt rose, red but more on the pinkish side (they have a nail polish similar to this color)
~ 102 Nova - this shade is a more mellowed out bubble gum pink
~ 101Celestial - this shade is more of a mauvy nude that leans more on the pinkish side
Here are the swatches, from left to right, Celestial, Nova,Aurora and Big Bang.
This is what the brush looks like, it's a doe foot applicator however the middle is empty which allows more product to be picked up and applied to your lips. The application is very smooth and creamy and may I add that this product is very very veryyyy pigmented, one swipe and you're done, it does bleed a little bit but that's nothing a lip liner can't fix. The texture is very smooth, not sticky at all, after taking it off, it may leave a stain on your lips.
All in all? I loved this product, definitely worth the hype, it has the cutest packaging, it's applicator is very well thought out, the pigmentation is crazy and the price is very very affordable~ So if you have the time? Run to a Walgreens (that's where I found these babies!) nearest you and pick a couple up!
